This product is a nearly colorless, slightly viscous liquid with a subtle amine odor. It exhibits compatibility with water, alcohol, and aromatic hydrocarbons, although it has limited miscibility with aliphatic hydrocarbons and ethyl ether. While isomeric with diethanolamine, its primary H₂N group enhances its reactivity.
