JEFFAMINE

JEFFAMINE® D 230 is a polyether diamine with low color, low viscosity, and moderate reactivity in epoxy curing. The polyether backbone yields cured resins with relatively high elongation, good toughness, and thermal shock resistance. It can be blended with higher-viscosity curing agents to reduce viscosity or combined with cycloaliphatics to enhance the elongation of higher-Tg (glass transition temperature) cured resins.

JEFFAMINE® D 630 is used in chemical manufacturing and is a liquid product. It is characterized by its colorless to light yellow appearance, with slight haze permitted.

JEFFAMINE® D 400 is characterized by repeating oxypropylene units in the backbone. As depicted by the representative structure, it is a difunctional, primary amine with an average molecular weight of about 430. The primary amine groups are positioned on secondary carbon atoms at the end of the aliphatic polyether chains.
