- Antifoam HL-36 GMP is recommended as an effective antifoam in highly alkaline solutions where degradation of conventional antifoams is of concern.
- Tests have shown that 1% by weight or less can control foam in caustic solutions. It is an effective antifoam in fermentation operations and for processing yeast and beet sugar.
- Antifoam HL-36 GMP also controls foam in alcohol-fermentation units.
