- It allows the addition of a silicone gum to a wide range of personal care formulations. It can be further diluted in volatile silicone and is miscible with mineral oil. It can be used to facilitate spreading of formulation actives.
- It is recommended in cuticle coat products, for its protecting action on split ends. The recommended usage level of the product is 3%-10% in skin or hair care products, 60% min in cuticle coat products.
