- Conventional Spray - Chemglaze 9951 thinners is used to reduce Chem- glaze polyurethane coatings to 18-20 seconds Zahn #2 cup. This generally requires 5% to 25% thinner (6 to 32 ounces per gallon).
- Electrostatic Spray - Chemglaze 9951 thinner is used at 5% to 25% with MIBK (methyl isobutyl ketone) for fine spray control. The electro- static resistance values in megohms is measured using a Randsburg Megohm Meter.
- Brush and Roll - Chemglaze 9951 thinner is used to dilute Chemglaze polyure- thane coatings for brush and roller application. Typically, Chemglaze polyurethane coatings are thinned 0-5% (0-6.4 fl.oz./gallon) for brush application and 10% (12.8 fl.oz/ gallon) for roller application.

- Shelf life of Chemglaze thinners is one (1) year from date of shipment when stored in original, unopened containers between 32°F (0°C) and 90°F (32.2°C).
- Store inside away from heat, sparks and open flame. Allow thinner which has been stored in cold temperatures to warm to 55°F (12.8°C) minimum before use.
