CROWN L-60B

• Crown L-60B protects at specific corrosion sites and does not form a continuous film, therefore lower concentrations may be used without fear of over-pickling.
• Crown L-60B provides excellent protection and shows great stability in high iron HCl pickling systems. It reduces or eliminates hydrogen embrittlement. Due to differences in picking lines, grades of steel, water sources, etc., consult your Crown representative for proper feed rates.
• Crown L-60B can be added to the raw acid or to the pickling solution. It is effective at temperatures to 210° F, and will not oil out or break down.
• Crown L-60B is very effective for inhibiting hydrochloric acid used in acidizing wells (oil, gas or water) located in limestone formations. It protects the metal surfaces of the well piping, pumps, and acid-transportation equipment.
• Crown L-60B’s other uses include inhibition of HCl acid used in cleaning industrial boilers, heat exchangers, and condensers, as well as inhibition of HCl acid that is used in liquid products such as copper cleaners and toilet bowl cleaners.

During the winter months anti-freeze may be added to lower freeze point 5 to 7 degrees.
