ESTICHEM AB 17102 is a boron-containing corrosion inhibitor for synthetic grinding fluids. The product contains glycols, biocides, and yellow metal inhibitors. It is free of formaldehyde releasers. It appears light yellow and is slightly turbid. It is designed for water-soluble synthetic grinding fluids.

    AB 17102 is designed for watersoluble synthetic grinding fluids. It can be blended with demineralised water at a rate of 50 wt.% to form a suitable concentrate. Solutions of such concentrates between 2-4% will be clear and stable with good air release. Foaming tendency will be low. Any remaining product residues will be dry, non sticky and easily reemulsifiable. The filter paper chip-test shows at 3% a corrosion rate = 0 in 200 ppm water hardness.
