This product is a unique, functional acrylic monomer consisting of mono- and di-phosphate esters of 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylate. The ratio of mono-alkyl to di-alkyl phosphate allows This product to be easily incorporated into a variety of polymer systems. The polarity of This product provides for application in hydrophilic formulations as well. The primary use area for This product is emulsion polymerization.

    • Harcryl® 1228 should not be used as a straight additive.
    • As a monomer, it should be fed separately or in the monomer pre-mix. Do not mix with the initiator solution as hazardous polymerization may occur.
