Recipe from the customer:
75 kg of Oxalic per tote + water for a total quantity per tote of 925 liters of solution.Preparation of Oxalic Acid Totes:
- Remove the cap from the tote, check that the totes are clean and that the foot valves of the totes are closed
- Pump or inject a minimum of 750 liters (max 800 liters) per tote
- Wearing the dust mask before starting this step. Using a funnel, pour 3 bags of 25 kg of oxalic acid into each tote that contain at least 750 liters of EDM.
- Using EDM, flush the funnel and top off the tote to 925 liters.
- Place the air lance at the bottom of the tote and open it gently to dissolve all the oxalic acid, about 20 minutes. Ensure that the tote is be free of deposit or sediment after agitation. Otherwise, re-air for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the air lance, put the cap on the Tote
- Identify the tote as ¨OXALIC ACID 8%¨ and add the production date.
- Repeat these steps for the 10 totes.
- For storage, keep the totes in a frost-free building
