Processing Guidelines: Concentrations ranging from 10 to 100 ppm have proved effective in most foaming systems. A good starting point is about 25 parts antifoam per million parts foamer. The results obtained at this concentration will indicate whether to increase or decrease the amount of antifoam.
Diluting the Antifoam: AF-10 FG disperses readily in aqueous systems. The emulsion can be added directly to the foamer with only mild agitation to thoroughly disperse. For use in systems where maximum efficiency is desired the silicone emulsion should be pre-diluted with water before being added to the foamer. If it is necessary to store the diluted material for longer than 8 hours it should be frequently agitated.

- Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
This product exhibits excellent storage stability when proper handling procedures are followed. As with most emulsions, storage in a cool place (60-75°F max.) in a tightly closed container will provide maximum shelf life. Under these conditions, it has a minimum shelf life of one year. Because it contains waterit should be protected from freezing. Repeated freezing may damage the container or may separate the emulsion rendering it unsuitable for use.
