- DEFOAMER 1573 can be applied as defoamer in many different applications, some examples are:
- In clear and glossy coatings
- In cooling systems
- In desalination systems
- In cleaners
- DEFOAMER 1573 does not enter into chemical reactions with the liquids to be defoamed except in high acidic media. The product has according to our experience no adverse effect on materials commonly used in apparatus or vessel constructions.
- The product can be used as supplied or diluted with water. It is recommended to use calcium free water for the dilution in order to achieve a highly stable defoaming emulsion. The optimum dilution ratio is 1:10 to 1:100. The resulting dilution has only a limited stability and has to be stirred from time to time.
