- Application Information
- Petrolaid RDX is used to stimulate oil production by dissolving the carbonate bedrock to produce fissures in the oil bearing rock formation
- Petrolaid RDX is used to dissolve calcium & magnesium carbonate downhole to allow for more efficient oil production especially for the stimulation of mature wells
- Petrolaid RDX is used to clean pumps and metal pipes efficiently without corrosion related issues typically related to the use of Hydrochloric acid.
- Cement Trucks, Equipment, and Tools Cleaners
- Cleaners for Most Metals and Rust Removers
- Unlike Hydrochloric Acid, Petrolaid RDX doesn’t require the addition of chemical additives to slow down the reaction with the rock matrix, or the need for expensive acid inhibitors or intensifiers
