SALIDANT DMH serves as a common water-soluble antimicrobial preservative effective against bacteria. It aids in preventing the growth of fungi, yeast, and harmful bacteria. DMDM hydantoin, the active ingredient, gradually releases formaldehyde, functioning as a preservative by creating an environment less favorable for microorganism growth.
