UFAPORE VB is an ammonium salt of a linear ethoxylated alcohol with a cobuilder. When mechanically introduced into water, it reduces surface tension in aqueous solutions and generates air bubbles.is specifically designed as a process aid for horizontal drilling in clay and silty soil. It produces highly robust and efficient foam. This product has low viscosity and excellent solubility in water, making it easy to handle and optimize its use in horizontal drilling applications.

    Product Highlights
    • UFAPORE VB designed as a process aid for horizontal drilling in clay and silty soil.
    • Highly robust and efficient foam is created.
    • UFAPORE VB has low viscosity and excellent solubility in water, this makes it easy to handle and optimize use in horizontal drilling.
    • Add or inject UFAPORE VB to the processwater 1:1000.
    • Cost efficient chemical solutions, that are easy to handle, creates low wear on the drilling equitment and lower the total cost.

Benefits of using a surfactant in the drilling process:

    • Improved cost, handling and drilling efficiency.
    • Disperses the clay and soil so that it does not stick together, or stick to the drilling equipment
    • Improved handling, no need for manualy pre-blend, optional to be injected into the drilling processwater pipeline instead of preblend on site.
    • Excellent wetting properties that make the clay and silty soil are tranfered out through the drilling hole.
    • Compatible with most common drilling fluids, e.g, bentonite, PAC, etc • Neutral PH

    Storage and Handling Conditions
    • UFAPORE VB have excellent solubility properties and can be diluted to user concentration with water under normal stirring procedure or directly in the pipeline together with water in dosage concentration.
    • The product has low viscosity down to 0°C.
    • Heating to more than 50°C is not recommended as hydrolysis may occur which can result in a reduced effect.
    • Storage stability is maximum 12 months in sealed packing at room temperature.
