BEROL™ 609 is a nonionic surfactant engineered as a replacement for nonyl phenol 9 (NP9). Its primary application is to serve as a direct drop-in replacement for NP9 or NP10. It boasts similar surfactant properties, including a cloud point equal to NP9, while also offering improved handling characteristics such as a lower pour point and viscosity. Additionally, it dissolves much more rapidly in cold water.
