Some of these molecules are terminated by a glucose unit. The total number of fructose or glucose units (degree of polymerization, or DP) in oligofructose or inulin mainly ranges between 2 and 8.

PARAGUM 600 is an APEO-free cross-linked polymer dispersion that is water-thin and soluble in alkalis. It is primarily used in textiles manufacturing to create high-efficiency thickeners by neutralizing it with alkalis like ammonia or caustic.
