AgeGuard™ LP is L-Proline which is an amino acid and makes up about 15% collagen in the body. It is a nutritive agent to skin and hair. It is used in anti-aging and other cosmetic formulas according to its ability to strengthen and renew aging skin cells. It is able to break down protein to help create healthy cells and connective tissues. While used in suntan products, it can shorten the cycle of cuticle regeneration, and promote firmer, glowing skin and reduce sagging, wrinkles of skin due to sun exposure. It will reduce wrinkles production when combined with other amino acids, such as glycine and leucine. It offers flexibility in formulation and serves as a beneficial ingredient in personal care products, contributing to conditioning properties and overall product effectiveness.

AGEGUARD™ AST-5 is a fat-soluble, xanthophyll carotenoid, a secondary metabolite naturally synthesized by a number of bacteria, microalgae, and yeasts. Astaxanthin is an organic red-colored carotenoid pigment with the molecular formula C40H52O4. This natural nutritional component can be found in aquatic plants, microalgae, red yeast, and even in the feathers of some birds. The structure of astaxanthin was proved by a group led by Professor Basil Weedon in 1975. Numerous studies have shown astaxanthin may be beneficial for improving Crow's feet wrinkles and elasticity, as well as reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL).

AGEGUARD™ HP16 is a plant-derived lipid agent consisting of hydroxyproline (a natural amino acid essential for skin collagen synthesis) and palmitic acid (a natural fatty acid). It has a naturally high affinity for skin proteins. This white granular powder has a faint odor. It is insoluble in water, alcohol, and acetone, but miscible in propylene glycol. It helps reduce wrinkles and provides volume, suppleness, and a firmer tone to the skin. In in-vitro studies, it has been found to stimulate the synthesis of collagen fibers and inhibit age-promoting elastase enzymes, thus maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier. It also contains a hydroxyproline vehicle that moisturizes, strengthens, and rejuvenates the skin. Additionally, it is effective for lip plumping.
