IronFix

IRONFIX-W is an Engineered BioFluid (EBF™) designed for chelating and maintaining reduced iron levels in contaminated reservoir formation waters. It reacts with dissolved ferrous iron present in formation, flowback, and produced waters, preventing the precipitation of ferric iron phases in the wellbore. Additionally, it keeps the iron in solution at the molecular level, facilitating its flushing from the reservoir without compromising reservoir permeability. This additive is a neat iron-control solution compatible with a wide pH range and the complete range of Integrity Bio-Chem completion fluid additives. It enables operators and pumping service companies to target specific zones enriched in dissolved iron for effective control.
