ALCLAR® HP22

Recommended solution concentrations:

• Stock solution: 0.25 – 0.5 % max.
• Feed solution: 0.025 – 0.1 % max.

Alclar HP22 is a high performance flocculant that has been specifically developed for the Bayer Process red mud washing circuit. The molecular weight distribution of Alclar HP22 has been designed to generate optimum flocculant performance over a wide range of red mud washers. Alclar HP22 is likely to be effective from Washer 3 to Washer 8. Alclar HP22 is very effective on last washers, super thickeners and deep thickeners allowing high solids underflow to be produced which are suitable for dry mud stacking and disposal.

• Alclar HP22 is available in 25 kg bags and big bags.
• Corrosivity towards most standard materials of construction is low, but aluminum and galvanized equipment should be avoided.

• Alclar HP22 is at least stable for four years from date of manufacture in its unopened original packaging stored in a cool and dry place.
