Solvay’s FB® 400C offer many of the same functional benefits as liquid hydrogen peroxide. As a potent oxidant, FB® 400C provide powerful cleaning, bleaching, stain removal and deodorizing benefits. Additionally, FB® 400C is environmentally begin, as it decomposes into oxygen, water, and soda ash. As such, FB® 400C is also featured on the NSF/ANSI 60 list of Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals. FB® 400C also contains a nominal 6% coating for increased stability.

Solvay’s FB® 400C is found in a wide range of applications including use in heavy-duty laundry detergents, fabric bleaches, wood-deck bleaches, textile bleaches and carpet cleaners. FB® 400C is also used in a number of general cleaning products in both the institutional and industrial marketplaces. FB® 400C can also be utilized in personal care formulations, denture cleaners, and certain food-bleaching applications.

Material is available out of Solvay’s plant location in Deer Park, Texas, in 50-pound bags and 2,000-pound supersacks.
- Transport Information
Transportation should take place between -25°C and 40°C, and elevated temperatures (>40°C) should be avoided if possible. Aerial transportation of this product is prohibited.
Storage & Handling
- Storage and Handling Information
- FB® 400C must be stored upright in the original container. Store in a cool, ventilated area where the material and package can be protected from physical damage.
- Do not store other chemicals, fuels, or combustible materials near hydrogen peroxide.
- Never return unused material to the original container.
- Once empty, rinse the container thoroughly with clean water before discarding the container.
- Rotate inventories in a first in, first out protocol.
- Do not stack 50-lb bags more than 8 bags high. Do not stack 2000-lb bags. Do not stack pallets, and do not store on wooden pallets. Maintain a spacing of at least two feet.
