    • PERKASIL® KS 300 PD is a precipitated silica with a medium surface area and a fine particle size.
    • Its primary application is for the rubber industry as high reinforcing agent.
    • It improves tear and tensile strength, affords dimensional stability and imparts good abrasion, cutting and chipping resistance.
    • As an essential additive in adhesion formulations, it promotes the adhesion of rubber to metal and rubber to textile.
    • Applications cover belt and hose compounds, seal and gasket materials, textiles and industrial rubber goods including cables.

    Storage Recommendations

    Like all other finely powdered products PERKASIL® KS 300 PD Precipitated Silica has a tendency to develop dust. During handling, precautions should be taken against electrostatic discharges. Storage in a dry warehouse is recommended. Open packages should be resealed to prevent contamination of the product and adsorption of water or other gases/vapours.

    The material should be used:

    •  within 12 months from the date of production when supplied in bulk or in big bags
    • within 24 months from the date of production when supplied in bag
