    • Old Bridge Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate, Technical (Feed) - Mining Grade - w/o Anti-Caking Additive is used as a floatation reagent in the recovery of zinc and lead in mining applications. The Sphalerite (ZnS) that is rejected during Lead-Zinc Ore mining operations.
    • The lead flotation tails are then floated in a second flotation step after activation with copper sulfate. The copper ions replace zinc atoms on the sphalerite surface creating a pseudo-copper mineral surface coverage on the sphalerite which is then collected using copper flotation type collectors.
