Alvinox P offers the following performance advantages:
- High coating processing and long term heat stabilization when used in combination with phenolic antioxidants and thioethers
- Low volatility and high thermal stability in the range of temperatures employed during processing and service life of coating formulations
- High hydrolytic stability
- High compatibility and synergism with a wide range of additives used in formulation of coatings (antioxidants. light stabilizers. etc.)
- Recommended Applications
- The concentration of Alvinox P to be used depends on binder and processing conditions as well as the required service life and formulation (presence of additives. pigments. fillers. etc.).
- Usual additions level of Alvinox P range from 0.05% to 0.3% depending also of the amount of antioxidants.
- Any application should be thoroughly investigated according to specific conditions of use.

- Alvinox P protects coatings from thermal oxidation.
- It acts essentially as a decomposer of hydroperoxides.
- Optimum performance is obtained when the product is used in combination with antioxidants (hindered phenols and/or thioethers) that additionally protect the polymer against long - term oxidative degradation.
- Alvinox P in combination with the previously mentioned antioxidants, is highly efficient in a wide range of binders.
