This product is a synthetic compound derived from polyglycerine and a fatty acid. This vegetable-origin compound is biodegradable and toxicologically safe, commonly employed as an emulsifier in cosmetic formulas. It imparts excellent skin-feel properties, high substantiality, and skin-smoothing effects. It creates fine, creamy bubbles, especially effective when combined with anionic surfactants. Additionally, it serves as an excellent thickener with good thermostable viscosity and can act as a deoactive ingredient due to its reaction to gram-positive bacteria.
