How To Use
- SAF - 139FGK Silicone Anti - foam may be used as received or diluted prior to use. SAF - 139FGK is typically effective in very low concentrations with between 1 - 10 ppm of active silicone solids being effective in controlling foam in many aqueous systems.
- When evaluating SAF - 139FGK it is suggested that testing begin at approximately 5 ppm active silicone. This starting point represents an average level of active silicone found to be effective in many applications. The silicone antifoam level may then be adjusted in either direction to a maximum of 10 ppm to determine the optimum effective concentration for the specific system requiring foam control.
- To produce optimum foam control it is recommended that the anti - foam be entirely dispersed into foaming system. This may be achieved by pre - diluting the anti - foam or by ensuring that the foaming system can provide adequate agitation to disperse the anti - foam. When possible. the anti - foam should be added prior to where the foaming occurs.

- SAF - 139FGK Silicone Anti - foam shows excellent stability when proper procedures are followed.
- Store in a cool area 4 - 27°C (40 - 80°F) in tightly closed containers.
- Storing the emulsion at temperatures above 46°C (115°F) will cause it to separate.
- SAF - 139FGK contains water and should be protected from freezing.
- When storing a diluted anti - foam for more than a few days. additional anti - bacterial preservative may be needed.
