FERROUS CHLORIDE SOLUTION is a concentrated solution of iron II chloride (FeCl₂) in water. It is produced from high-purity raw materials through the dissolution of iron oxide in hydrochloric acid. Its principal uses in wastewater treatment include phosphate precipitation and removal, elimination of sulfide-based odors, reduction of arsenic and mercury, hexavalent chrome reduction, and struvite control.
