- Property Information
- The aqueous solution of Monosodium Phosphate monohydrate has an acidic action. In addition, Monosodium Phosphate monohydrate has excellent buffering qualities.
- Due to its physical properties and the content of water of hydration, Disodium Phosphate monohydrate strongly tends to form lumps and should therefore be further processed soon after receipt.
- The strong lump formation tendency generally increases over time of storage, especially when the material is exposed to high temperature, high humidity levels or high pressure.
- These lump formations might be reversible through an adequate physical treatment of the material.
