Functional Additives

This product is a natural antioxidant derived from the distillation of sunflower oils. It is an oily liquid with an amber-yellowish to dark amber color and may contain cereous components in microcrystalline form. This antioxidant is insoluble in water but soluble in fats and oils. It is particularly suitable for use in edible fats and oils, meat products, snacks, essential oils, and natural flavorings.

This product is a synergistic blend of our Tocobiol® antioxidant and a combination of natural emulsifiers. It is designed to be water dispersible. Tocobiol® is a natural antioxidant derived from the distillation of a single raw ingredient, which is whole Non-GMO soybean oil. It naturally contains mixed tocopherols, plant sterols, squalene, and monoglycerides, which give it its unique antioxidant and dispersibility properties. The natural emulsifiers in this blend consist of naturally derived citric acid esters (E 472c) and mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids (E 471).

Tocobiol® Plus GP is a synergistic blend of our Tocobiol® antioxidant, ascorbyl palmitate, propyl gallate, propylene glycol and citric acid esters. Tocobiol® is a natural antioxidant made from the distillation of a single raw ingredient, whole Non-GMO soybean oil. It naturally contains mixed tocopherols, plant sterols, squalene and monoglycerides which provide its unique antioxidant and dispersibility properties. Ascorbyl palmitate (E 304i), naturally derived, and propyl gallate (E 310) provide additional synergistic qualities when combined with our Tocobiol® antioxidant. Propylene glycol (E 1520), and naturally derived citric acid esters (E 472c) are added as emulsifiers.
